Helping to build families

We work directly with respective county Department of Health and Human Service Agencies on behalf of children and foster parents in negotiations of adoption subsidies to help establish and maintain permanent, nurturing homes for special needs children who cannot return to live with their birth parents. Many children within the child welfare system have special needs. We advocate on behalf of foster parents and relatives for adoption subsidies to ensure these children receive all necessary services, including medical, psychological, and educational services.

There are a number of legal options available for foster parents and relatives to permanently care for children in the child welfare system when these children can not live with their birth parents.
